Based on the U.K. series by Paula Milne, which stars Clive Owen, the gothic psychological thriller revolves around Ross Tanner (My Name Is Earl's Lee), a detective who is suddenly afflicted with an autoimmune virus that causes hallucinations reflective of his subconscious. He discovers that catching the killer depends as much on insight as eyesight.

Cole will play Gemma, one of Tanner's detectives and love interest. She's pretty with a fierce anger streak who doesn't care for many but has a fondness and loyalty to Tanner, who once saved her career from an Internal Affairs witch hunt. She becomes suspicious when Tanner refuses to drive himself anywhere and becomes the only one who knows of his secret.
