The X Factor alums Emblem3 announced three live shows as well as a few hints about their forthcoming CD on UStream on Monday night.

“We got three shows coming up,” an excited Wesley Stromberg said during the broadcast. “It’s going to be off the chain."

The shows, all in California, include The Roxy, Los Angeles, Feb. 27; The Glass House, Pomona, March 2; and The House of Blues, San Diego, March 3.

Stromberg also dropped a few hints about the group’s forthcoming CD on Syco Music via Columbia Records. The group is already working with Savan Kotecha (Maroon 5, Usher, One Direction) and OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder.

“We’ve been working in the studio,” said Stromberg, who promised a single was forthcoming.

Tedder said working with the Huntington Beach, Calif., trio was “super fun."

“Those guys are as Southern California surfer dudes as you can possibly be,” Tedder told The Hollywood Reporter. “It’s like Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, but they are smarter than Bill and Ted."

Tedder said he first heard of the California teens after the group performed a version of his band’s song “Secrets” on X Factor and was impressed by the response to it.

“They have such a huge online following that our Twitter page began blowing up. When I met them, they were going off about that song, and that it’s one of their favorite songs,” he said. “I’m stoked that they did it. When people do our songs as covers, it’s an honor."

The boys so far don’t seem to be taking fame too seriously as they took some questions from 14,000 fans watching the broadcast.

While Keaton Stromberg munched on pizza bagels and deflected a request to cut his hair, Drew Chadwick impressed with his attempts at speaking in Spanish -- and belting a few bars of “Santeria” by Sublime -- while Wesley took a call from an unknown female from the New York area that somehow got his number and requested a FaceTime session.

Clearly touched by the outpouring of global support, Chadwick reminisced about the group’s humble beginnings serenading locals at the beach with Third Eye Blind covers.

“Nine months ago, we were playing music at downtown Huntington Pier just for fun,” he said. “That’s when we knew because we made a bum cry. We touched him in places he never been touched.”

Tickets for the show are available at the group’s website, Emblem3.com
