Melanie Lynskey
Melanie Lynskey is returning to HBO.
The actress, who recurs on CBS' Two and a Half Men, has become the first person cast in the premium cable network's comedy pilot from Mark and Jay Duplass, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Togetherness follows two couples living under the same roof who struggle to keep their relationships alive while pursuing their individual dreams.

Lynskey will play half of one of those couples -- Michelle Pierson, a sweet-natured, hard-working full-time mother of two whose marriage is dying on its feet as she yearns for a more fulfilling life. The Duplass brothers will write, executive produce and direct the half-hour pilot; Duplass Brothers Productions' producer Stephanie Langhoff will serve as a co-executive producer on the project. There are no plans for either to appear on screen.
In addition to her role as Alan and Waldon's neighbor on Two and a Half Men, Lynskey's credits include HBO's The Life & Times of Tim and features Up in the Air, Perks of Being a Wallflower and Away We Go. She's repped by Gersh, Johnson and Laird Management and Susan Smith.
