TV Ratings: ‘The Bachelor’ Continues to Grow, ‘The Following’ Jumps

The Bachelor (3.0 adults), continuing to grow on ABC, was up three tenths of a point on Monday night for a season high. The growth also marked the series' highest non-finale ratings in nearly two years. Castle (2.2 adults) was up two tenths of a point, winning the 10 p.m. hour and helping push ABC to a tied victory in adults 18-49 (2.8 adults) and a dominant 9.4 million viewers for the night.

How I Met Your Mother (3.4 adults rating) rose two tenths of a point from last week's showing on CBS, tying 2 Broke Girls as the night's strongest performer in the key demo. 2 Broke Girls (3.4 adults) was down two tenths of a point from the previous Monday, following a steady Rules of Engagement (2.8 adults). Mike & Molly (3.1 adults) moved up a tenth of a point, while Hawaii Five-0 was down by the same measure. CBS tied ABC with adults 18-49 (2.8 rating) and averaged 9.2 million viewers.

After a small dip for Bones (down a tenth of a point to a 2.1 adults rating), The Following (2.8 adults) jumped four tenths of a point from last Monday. The Fox drama was the biggest grower of the night, pushing the network to an average 2.5 rating with adults 18-49 and 8.3 million viewers.

NBC saw a small boost for The Biggest Loser (2.1 adults), which rose by a tenth of a point from last week. Deception (1.2 adults) was steady at 10 p.m., giving the network an average 1.8 rating in the key demo and 4.8 million viewers.

The Carrie Diaries (0.4 adults) lost a tenth of a point from last week's showing on the CW for a series low, as did 90210 (0.2 adults). The latter brought in an audience of just 530,000 viewers. The CW averaged a 0.3 rating in the key demo and 863,000 viewers.

Univision averaged a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 3.8 million viewers.
