NBC has cast one of its lovable losers.

Comedian Brent Morin has been tapped to co-star in the network's comedy pilot Undateable, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The bromantic comedy centers on Justin and Danny, two very different guys who are bonded by their common inability to attract women.

Morin will play Justin, a chronic over-thinker who looks before he leaps. He's a bar owner but definitely not cool. When his bar struggles to take off, Justin winds up moving in with Danny and isn't happy about how the latter seems to be taking over his life and those of his undateable friends.

Due Date's Adam Sztykiel will pen the pilot and executive produce Warner Bros. Television's multicamera comedy alongside Cougar Town's Bill Lawrence and Jeff Ingold. The comedy is based on Ellen Rakieten and Anne Coyle's upcoming book Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won't be Dating or Having Sex.
