The hacks at HollywoodLife are as predictable as they are clueless.
On Friday, Gossip Cop debunked the webloid’s latest bogus assertion that Kristen Stewart is “single,” and that she and Robert Pattinson have supposedly turned their alleged “trial separation” into a “complete split.”
Jay Penske’s HollywoodLies, er, HollywoodLife, has been shrieking about the non-existent separation for weeks, passing off baseless rumors as reporting.
Of course, the only thing the online gossip rag does as well as blind speculation is… blatant contradiction!
Gossip Cop PREDICTED that HollywoodLife would try to weasel its way out of its 1,000th fabricated “split” report, and the pathetic blog did just that.
Only hours after claiming Stewart and Pattinson were done for good, the site reversed itself with a b.s. “exclusive.”
“Regardless of the actual state of Rob and Kristen’s relationship, HollywoodLife.com has EXCLUSIVELY learned that the two will be forced to reunite sooner than later!” announced the shameless webloid.
“Forced to reunite”?
The blog explains that the studio behind the Twilight movies “wants the couple to be together” before Breaking Dawn – Part 2 is released on DVD on March 2.
“They want both Rob & Kristen to be seen somewhere together right before the release of the DVD in March, and they think they will be able to get that achieved whether they are rekindled or broken up,” a so-called “insider” tells HollywoodLife.
Ohhhh, we get it!
In other words, when Stewart and Pattinson are together again after he finishes filming The Rover in Australia, HollywoodLife will do EXACTLY WHAT WE SAID — make excuses for its abominable “reporting” about the couple allegedly splitting.
This is what happens when a blog posts whatever it wants with little regard for reality.
It’s forced to cover its fabrications with other fabrications, flailing about, trying to explain why the actual facts don’t match its stories.
HollywoodLife will undoubtedly continue to be reckless, contradictory, speculative, and sensational in its misleading “coverage” of Stewart and Pattinson.
Gossip Cop will continue to point out its offenses.
