Fox has finally set a premiere date for The Goodwin Games. The midseason comedy enters the schedule on Monday, May 20, at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The news comes courtesy of star Scott Foley, who tweeted the date on Wednesday, also noting that the seven episodes are planned to air in the half-hour for its entire run.
From How I Met Your Mother executive producers Carter Bays, Craig Thomas and Chris Harris, The Goodwin Games saw its original 13-episode order cut by nearly half in November.

A Monday premiere also implies that Fox will be playing around a bit with its summer schedule. The night is typically home to hour-long dramas and unscripted programming.
After cancelling Ben and Kate in January and cutting its two-hour Tuesday comedy block to just one hour, Fox has made plans to twice sample half-hour comedies on Thursday nights before the end of the season with special outings for Raising Hope, New Girl and The Mindy Project.
Foley, who's currently filming a guest arc on ABC's Scandal, is joined by Becki Newton and T.J. Miller in The Goodwin Games. The comedy follows a trio of estranged siblings forced to compete for their father's inheritance, inadvertently reconnecting in the process.
