David Spade and Rachael Harris
ABC is staffing up its luxury department store at the center of its comedy pilot Bad Management.
Rules of Engagement's David Spade and Wreck-It Ralph's Rachael Harris have been tapped to co-star in the Sharon Horgan comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The single-camera vehicle revolves around a slightly self-centered female boss (Pulling's Horgan) at a high-end luxury goods department store who finds her ways challenged when the boss' son comes to town and makes youth and sex the new company focus.
Spade will play Tobias Eastmore Jr., the son of the department store owner. He's the heir apparent to Eastmore's and a brat with a reputation as a womanizer who has failed repeatedly at launching his own business.
Harris, whose recent TV credits include Fox's New Girl, USA's Suits and ABC's Happy Endings, will portray Linda, Eve's (Horgan) best friend and colleague at the store. She has a history of making bad decisions about work and men but is oddly (and sadly) optimistic.

Horgan will pen the script with her Dead Boss colleague Holly Walsh and executive produce alongside Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan. Ben Taylor will direct the ABC Studios pilot, which will film in Los Angeles.
Spade, whose credits also include Saturday Night Live, 8 Simple Rules and Just Shoot Me, is with WME and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Harris is repped by UTA, Principato-Young and Stone Meyer.
Spade -- for whom Bad Management is in first position -- joins fellow Rules stars Patrick Warburton and Adhir Kalyan in pilots this season. (Warburton will star and produce Jacked Up at CBS, while Kalyan is set for NBC's Greg Daniels/Robert Padnick entry). While the castings put the future of Rules in question, viewers know better than to count CBS' solid bench player out.
