Schull was 22 back in 2000 when she landed the lead role of Jody Sawyer. At the time of filming she was an apprentice with the San Francisco Ballet, later joining the corps de ballet before her retirement in 2006.

After leaving SFB, Schull danced on film again in Mao's Last Dancer (2009), but has focused on TV, landing quite a few forgettable appearances on Hawaii Five-0, Psych, and Bones, however she's recently come into some more substantial supporting roles on Pretty Little Liars, Suits, and One Tree Hill.

Stiefel, who was a principal with American Ballet Theater at the time of filming, played one of Jody's love interests. The bad one.

Cooper, er, Ethan only recently left ABT to become director at the Royal New Zealand Ballet in 2011. As for acting, he played Cooper Nielsen once more in Center Stage: Turn It Up, a movie no one saw or even heard about. And he also once played himself in an episode of Gossip Girl.
