2 Chainz was arrested for marijuana possession while en route to perform at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore on Thursday.
The rapper, whose real name is Tauheed Epps, was driving in a car with six others when they were pulled over in the town of Easton around 10 p.m.
2 Chainz was charged with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and released with a citation — after posing for a photo with the arresting police officers.
The Grammy-nominated performer ranted about the incident on Twitter, saying, “dam police f**kn wit a n****.”
He then tweeted the cop picture with the caption, “Locked me up and then Wanted pictures smh.”
Despite the arrest, the rapper still made it on time to perform at the university.
