USA Network has ordered 10 more episodes of the hour-long drama starring Callie Thorne, completing the renewal process of its scripted drama slate.

"Necessary Roughness is an important page in our network playbook,” said USA co-presidents Jeff Wachtel and Chris McCumber in a joint statement. “With a standout team of actors and writers playing at the top of their game, the upcoming seasons promise to deliver high-impact and creative storytelling.”

Necessary Roughness, with Royal Pains on Wednesday nights, averaged 5.3 million viewers. The season two premiere drew 4.6 million viewers.

Marc Blucas, Scott Cohen, Hannah Marks, Patrick Johnson and Mehcad Brooks co-star in the series, created/executive produced by Liz Kruger and Craig Shapiro. Jeffrey Lieber and Kevin Dowling are also EPs.

Necessary Roughness joins Suits, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, White Collar and Covert Affairs in returning for new seasons. New series Graceland, which USA touts Monday morning at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, launches this summer.

The second half of Necessary Roughness' second season returns Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. on USA.
