TV Ratings: ‘NCIS’ Swells, ‘Go On’ Rises, ‘Hart of Dixie’ Makes Steady Return

CBS took home another Wednesday night in adults 18-49 (2.7 rating) and total viewers (16.96 million). The network started the night with an especially strong NCIS, rising three tenths of a point to a 3.8 rating with adults 18-49. The episode was also up in total viewers, pulling in its second largest audience ever with 22.3 million. NCIS LA (2.7 adults) was off ten percent from last week, while Vegas (1.6 adults) was steady with its most recent showing.

Back-to-back episodes of Betty White's Off Their Rockers pulled 1.4 and 1.8 ratings during the 8 p.m. hour. They were down seven and five percent from the previous week. Go On (1.7 adults) rose 13 percent from the prior week, followed by steady episodes of The New Normal (1.3 adults) and Parenthood (1.9 adults). NBC averaged a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.8 million viewers.

Fox averaged a 1.5 adults rating and 3.1 million viewers with new episodes from its Tuesday comedy block. Raising Hope (1.6 adults), Ben and Kate (1.1 adults) and New Girl (1.9 adults) were off a tenth of a point from last week's episodes, while The Mindy Project (1.5 adults)  was steady with its recent showing.

Encores of Modern Family and Suburgatory led into new outings of Happy Endings (1.3 adults) and Don't Trust the B-- in Apt. 23 (1.1 adults). Happy Endings was off a tenth of a point from last week, and Apt. 23 was steady. Private Practice (1.2 adults) added a tenth of a point from last week, giving the network an average 1.2 adults rating and 3.7 million viewers for the night.

A steady Hart of Dixie (0.6 adults) returned to the CW after its winter hiatus, and Emily Owens M.D. (0.3 adults) was flat with last week. The network averaged a 0.4 adults rating and 1.2 million viewers.

Univision averaged a 1.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.1 million viewers.
