CBS had another strong Thursday. Despite increased competition across all broadcast networks, The Big Bang Theory started the night with another series high in adults 18-49 and in total viewers. The series was up two tenths of a point to a 6.3 rating in the key demo and pulled in 19.8 million viewers. Two and a Half Men (4.2 adults) was down from the previous week by seven percent. Person of Interest (3.3 adults), off just a tenth of a point, topped the 9 p.m. hour. And at 11 p.m., Elementary (2.4 adults) was down eight percent. The network averaged a 3.6 adults rating and 14.7 million viewers.

The Last Resort, airing one of its final episodes, was up two tenths of a point to a 1.2 adults rating on ABC. Grey's Anatomy (3.1 adults) was also up two tenths in its return. Scandal (2.8 adults) jumped 17 percent at 10 p.m. for a new record haul in the key demo, winning the hour. ABC averaged a 2.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 7.8 million viewers.
30 Rock (1.4 adult) matched its season high, moving up three tenths of a point from its last original. An encore of the 1600 Penn pilot, sampled in December, pulled a 1.4 adults rating at 8:30 p.m. The Office (2.2 adults) was up a tenth of a point at 9 p.m. before the official debut of 1600 Penn. The new comedy, which brought in a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49, was up from the recent showing of Parks and Recreation but just shy of its season average. Rock Center with Brian Williams, up three tenths of a point, was at a 1.1 rating in the demo. The network pulled a 1.5 in the demo and 3.9 million viewers.

A new showing from Mobbed (1.2 adults) was up a tenth of a point from last Thursday on Fox. Averaged with an encore of Glee, Fox pulled a 0.9 adults rating and 2.7 million viewers.
The Critics Choice Awards earned a 0.6 adults rating and 1.9 million viewers on The CW. Those are the highest returns for the show since 2006, when it was last aired on The WB.
