Former Bachelorette Trista Rehn Sutter and current Bachelor Sean Lowe welcomed guests to Friday's party.
Sean Lowe says there will be lots of fireworks during this season of The Bachelor.
"You're gonna get the drama," he told The Hollywood Reporter at a Warner Horizon Television party held Friday night in conjunction with TCA's winter press tour at the Agoura Hills, Calif., house where the ABC series' participants live.

"I think what you'll see, and this may be different from seasons past, my heart goes all over the place," he said. "I think my frontrunners in the beginning are the ones for me, and that changes and I'm led over here to these women who have personalities that I've never really dated before."
He added that this ended up putting him in a situation toward the end of filming where he wasn't sure what the outcome was going to be.
"Everything is new to me, and it creates trouble in the end because I'm left with four or five women that I have feelings for," he said. "And they're invested in me, and I get to a point where I don't know what I want to do."
Lowe admitted that he was "overwhelmed" on the first night of shooting. A total of 26 women -- including surprise returnee Kacie Boguskie, from former Bachelor Ben Flajnik's season -- arrived at the house with the hopes of winning Lowe's affection and possibly receiving a proposal in the end.
Last week's premiere saw Lowe shake things up when he started handing out roses whenever he felt a connection with one of the girls instead of waiting for the rose ceremony. He said that was his idea.
"I knew how long that night was going to be -- it's like an eight-hour party," he said. "I figured ... that at the end of the night, I'd get my stories confused and forget who I really had a connection with, and it was all to make it easier on me. If I felt it in the moment, I have a rose. I didn't know it would cause drama with the girls, but it certainly helped me out."
He added that viewers will see him continue to "bend the rules" as the season progresses.
"You can't stick to what other bachelors did before you, so I'll definitely break the rules but -- here comes the cliche of the night -- it's all in the name of love," he said.

Meanwhile, promos for upcoming episodes show at least one woman on a stretcher. The franchise's creator/executive producer Mike Fleiss told THR that ambulances were actually called on two of the participants during the course of filming.
Asked what for, he said one was a "potential cardio-pulmonary problem" before quipping, "It wasn't a broken heart."
Lowe is the latest Bachelor/Bachelorette star to take on the title after having participated in a previous season. He made it to the final three during Emily Maynard's run as the Bachelorette.
During Friday's event, Maynard -- whose appearances on the franchise resulted in two broken engagements, to Brad Womack and Jef Holm -- told THR that she didn't feel like she was in any position to give Lowe advice.
"I think I'm the last person to ever give anybody dating advice as far as The Bachelor or The Bachelorette is concerned because clearly it hasn't worked out for me," she joked. "But I did have the best experience, so I just told him that I hope he's happier than he's ever been, and I hope that he takes it in because it's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."
Meanwhile, exec producer Fleiss added the show will continue the trend of having past participants return as the Bachelor/Bachelorette, saying it keeps a "continuity" from season to season. So does he know who the next Bachelorette will be?
"We have a few favorites and some ideas, but truthfully we can't tell until we see how the audience responds to certain characters," he said. "We know who is pretty enough and likable enough and sweet enough and sincere enough, but we want to deliver a fan favorite. We are only one episode in, so we can't tell who that will be."

So back to Lowe -- is it safe to say he found "the one"?
"It's not safe to say that," Lowe teased, laughing. He added: "I can tell you I really felt like I was falling in love with more than one person. I hate saying that because it sounds so cliche, but it's true."
The Bachelor airs at 8 p.m. Mondays.
