“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have patched things up after their blowout fight right before Christmas, ringing in the new year together in London,” reports In Touch, doubling down on its previous bogus reporting.
“After he went there without her, she kept calling, begging him to let her come see him,” a so-called “friend” of the couple tells the magazine.
The In Touch source adds, “Finally, he gave in, even though his family doesn’t like her and isn’t thrilled about it.”
But the good times are about to end, alleges the tabloid.
“It’s only a matter of time” before Pattinson “ends things with [Stewart] for good,” the “pal” tells the mag.
Uh-huh.
Here’s what’s actually happening.
In Touch falsely claimed Stewart and Pattinson had a giant blowout fight over Christmas, then had to scramble to cover itself when the couple spent New Year’s together.
So now the magazine is forced to say the duo’s happiness is short-lived, because Pattinson will (supposedly) be dumping Stewart any day now.
It bears repeating that In Touch has never had any clue — none whatsoever — about what’s really going on with Stewart and Pattinson.
The tabloid’s track record is a trail of truly gross sensationalism and easily disproven speculation.
It whips up non-stories, hoping to stir controversy.
This latest half-baked excuse for a “breakup” story is just more of the same unsubstantiated nonsense.
A source close to Stewart and Pattinson tells Gossip Cop that while “no one can predict the future, good or bad,” In Touch’s previous bad guesses “speak for themselves.”
