Jessica Simpson is demanding her fiancé Eric Johnson “stop checking Ashlee [Simpson] out!” reports a breathless piece from Star.
According to a purported “insider” for the mag, “Jess caught Eric staring at Ashlee” during their family vacation in Hawaii, and the alleged incident “drove her nuts!”
The so-called “pal” says, “Ashlee wore these teeny bikinis in front of him, while Jessica was in a huge cover up,” claiming that a “pregnant and self-conscious” Jessica “hated being around her stick-thin sister.”
Star’s “source” explains, “Ashlee has always comes second to Jessica, but for once she is the one getting tons of attention, and was making the most of it.”
Uh-huh.
The tab goes on to claim that when Jessica supposedly confronted Johnson about his wandering eye, “He told Jessica it was her fault he spent so much time with her seductive sister.”
The “insider” reveals, “He said he is the one always taking care of the baby, so if he and Ashlee were playing with [Bronx and Maxwell] together, it’s not like he can avoid looking at her!”
Star’s source, who was apparently present for this very private conversation at a secluded resort in Hawaii, adds, “If Jessica took care of Maxwell, he wouldn’t have to spend so much time around Ashlee.”
Wow.
As in wow, this story is incredibly WRONG, not to mention mean-spirited.
For starters, Jessica is proud of her pregnant figure, and even shared out a photo of her bare baby bump to millions of Twitter followers while on the Hawaiian getaway.
Also, she and Ashlee are very close, and Johnson is almost Ashlee’s brother-in-law, so the idea claim that the two would be up to something behind Jessica’s back is disgusting and hurtful.
Still, Gossip Cop checked in with a Simpson family insider, who tells us there’s “no truth” to the mag’s “absurd” story.
