Jason & Jennifer Schiraldi tried for two years to have a baby. When Jason finally got his sperm checked they were told "there was no sperm in your sample." A desperation visit to the Cleveland Clinic revealed one single sperm in Jason's body.

The odds of just one sperm fertilizing an egg and resulting in a baby is one in 60 million. But they went for it. Meet Kenley, the Schiraldi's happy, healthy 1-year-old girl.

Katrina Dorroch's baby developed a fatal condition late in her pregnancy. The baby's organs started shutting down and so did his mother's.

Scottish doctors quickly gave three intra-uterine infusions of a teaspoon of O-negative blood to baby Alex. Now Alex is a year old and healthy!

"We know how lucky we are to have our wee miracle," Katrina told parentdish.co.uk last year.

One of the smallest babies ever born.

According to babble.com:

"When North Carolina mom Nicki Moore delivered her baby girl after just 24 weeks of pregnancy, the doctors told her there was less than a 10 percent chance that her child would survive.

Kenna, who is believed to be the fourth smallest baby in the world, was born to the Moore family weighing just 272 grams, or 9 ounces.

She now weighs 3 pounds 3 ounces and was recently moved from an incubator to a crib."
