Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry may be leaning more heavily on her ex, Jordan Wenner, for support lately, but that doesn't mean she's totally cut her son's father, Jo Rivera, out of their lives.
On the Dec. 3 episode of Teen Mom, Lowry reconnects with Rivera to attend a mediation session in an effort to reach a custody agreement for their 3-year-old son, Isaac. Under the new temporary agreement reached during mediation, Lowry gets increased weekend visitation, but worries her ex will fight the settlement and take her to court.

"I got the feeling that this wasn't what you wanted from the beginning, but at the same time, I have to spend weekend time with him too. I don't want to fight with you," Lowry tells Rivera in an emotional preview clip from Monday's show.

Later, the exes meet up to discuss the terms of their new agreement in person. Though Rivera once balked at forking over $400 in child support payments for his son, he appears willing to meet Lowry in the middle this time around. "You can come see him whenever you want," he suggests.

Rivera seems optimistic the pair can work out their differences away from the courtroom. "[Hopefully] we can work something out on our own, which we know will be the best way," he admits. "We have to think about what's best for Isaac and stop being so selfish. It's a good first step."
