Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip -- and West Wing -- reunion alert!

Go On is reuniting Bradley Whitford and Matthew Perry for an upcoming episode of NBC's freshman comedy, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

"Working with Bradley Whitford again is so much fun," Perry wrote Wednesday on Twitter. "I mean, I wish we weren't in a hot tub together, but you can't ask for everything.#GoOn"

Details about Whitford's role are being kept under wraps -- and an exact air date for his episode remains unclear as episodes are filmed out of order -- but the casting marks the latest Studio 60 actor to surface on primetime this season. Sarah Paulson is starring on FX's American Horror Story: Asylum, Columbus Short co-stars on ABC's Scandal and Amanda Peet has been recurring on CBS' The Good Wife.

Whitford most recently guest starred on NBC's Parks and Recreation and starred on NBC's single-camera comedy pilot Isabel, which was passed over in May.

Perry and Whitford co-starred on NBC's Aaron Sorkin drama Studio 60 for one season, with the Friends star also guesting on three episodes of Whitford's The West Wing. Whitford next appears in Showtime's Shameless.

Go On returns Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
