Chris LaPorte found a small, old, faded, and somewhat blurry photo he found in his mother’s basement and decided to draw it… The result is spectacular.
Inspired by a photograph of Chris' grandfather's 1926 high school marching band in Bay City, Michigan, it took a year to create and was submitted in the 2012 ArtPrize competition in Grand Rapids, MI.
