It won't be a very merry Christmas on Chicago Fire.
Lieutenant Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) and his firemen are targeted by Internal Affairs after an expensive piece of jewelry, said to be worth upwards of $50,000, is discovered missing after they put out a routine fire in an upscale home in the city. The tense confrontation between Casey and the IA officer, in a scene exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter from next Wednesday's episode, "Merry Christmas, Etc.," doesn't exactly warm the hearts of the men in the firehouse.

Casey, the leader that he is, has major beef with the accusation that someone from his team could stoop so low. After the IA guy says his spiel, handing out paperwork like he's done this a thousand times over, Casey asks Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) for a word. One can only assume what that conversation will be like.
Meanwhile, Cruz's brother Leon (Jeff Lima) gets caught in the center of a gang war, forcing Cruz to make a choice to save him, Dawson (Monica Raymund) invites Casey over to her cousin's holiday party, while Shay (Lauren German) reaches her limit with Lieutenant Severide (Taylor Kinney).
Chicago Fire airs 10 p.m. Wednesdays on NBC.
