Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts, and Keira Knightley are among 13 actresses who appear in short films for The New York Times series called “Wide-Awake.”
The project is described as a “video gallery of dreams and transformations,” featuring female stars whose performances “defined the year in film.”
Rebel Wilson, Helen Hunt, Kerry Washington, Elle Fanning, Shirley MacLaine, Marion Cotillard, Emmanuelle Riva, Amy Adams and young Quvenzhané Wallis fill out the group of “Hollywood Heroines.”
