Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty and Debra Messing return for the second season of “Smash,” although a new trailer also highlights the big addition to the musical theater drama: Jennifer Hudson.
Hudson portrays a golden-voiced two-time Tony winner who takes a shine to McPhee’s less established Broadway performer.
The teaser for the show’s February return also features new love interests, old rivalries, and guest star Sean Hayes.
