“Maddox, the oldest in Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s brood, is feeling like the odd man out as he watches his siblings get roles in his mom’s new flick, Maleficent,” reports Star magazine.
The tabloid declares that there’s now an “Acting Rivalry” in the family.
As Gossip Cop has reported, three of the Jolie-Pitt kids will appear in the upcoming film, but “sources whisper” to Star that Maddox is “the true Hollywood hopeful” and upset over being “left out.”
“He sleeps, eats and breathes movies — he knows he wants to act,” explains one of the tab’s insiders. “In 2008, Shiloh got to be in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button with Brad, so besides Knox, Maddox will be the only child who hasn’t been in a film.”
Wow, this “insider” sure has access… to IMDb.
Look, it’s becoming clear that Star is obsessed with printing overheated speculation about Pitt and Jolie’s children, but this latest story is sheer absurdity.
Maddox is 11 years old.
He will have plenty of opportunities to act — if he wants — in the future.
There’s no “rivalry” between him and his younger siblings based on Maleficent, as much as the tabloids would love to stoke controversy.
A source close to the family tells Gossip Cop the Star report is “absolute nonsense.”
