Andrae Gonzalo placed in the top 10 on Project Runway's second season in 2006, but six years later, the New York City-based designer is struggling to find his place on the show's All Star season.
Landing in the bottom two earlier this season alongside eliminated designer Wendy Pepper, Gonzalo is once again forced to defend his pieces on the Nov. 15 episode. As revealed in this exclusive sneak peek, Gonzalo drew inspiration for his latest garment from a memorable photograph of a Project Runway fan from Alabama.
Copying the photograph's color scheme in his dress, which features a handful of zippered color-block panels, Gonzalo shocks Project Runway's judges when categorizing his look as a take on "euphoric modular knits."
