When a myth calls for a high-velocity arm, who better to help than a professional baseball pitcher fresh off a World Series championship?
On the latest episode of Discovery Channel's MythBusters, the team enlist the help of perfect game thrower and San Francisco Giants ace Matt Cain for some much-needed help.
It's quite a sight to see team member Tory getting blasted over his lack of arm speed as he and Cain compete to see who should participate in the myth busting.
This one's rather simple: Can a needle pierce a hole through a sheet of glass? The attempts are astonishing, with Cain's throws getting up to the 100s. Watch what happens when Cain gets up to 115 mph:
