Is Jamie Foxx gearing up to do battle with Spider-Man?
The Oscar winner is said to be in early talks to play the villain Electro in the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man sequel.
Electro, whose alter-ego Max Dillon wasn’t featured in the previous “Spider-man” films, uses electricity for his duplicitous purposes.
On Thursday, Foxx fueled speculation that he may be taking on the role when he wrote on Twitter, “Dressed up as Electro for Halloween last night.”
“Costume fits well,” he cryptically added.
Shailene Woodley is also rumored as a possible cast addition for the next installment, as Spidey’s gal pal Mary Jane.
The movie is slated to hit theaters May 2, 2014.
