One day after launching its airstrike , the Israel Defense Forces urged Gaza civilians to stay away from Hamas operatives and facilities.

The warnings fell on Gaza Thursday, the day after Israel began its Pillar of Defense, a retaliation to Hamas' ongoing rocket strikes to Israel's southern region. The airstrike has killed 15 so far, including a Hamas military commander.
