According to HollywoodLife, Taylor Lautner talks about Kristen Stewart’s infidelity in the December issue of Cosmopolitan.
The sensationalistic webloid zeroes in on a quote in which Lautner tells the magazine on the topic of cheating, “To be honest, I’ve never been involved in any of those situations, so I don’t know [if trust can be regained]. It would be just a guess and a shot in the dark, and I don’t want to give that if I haven’t even been there myself.”
That’s it.
Lautner’s comments do not explicitly refer to Stewart’s indiscretion with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, nor do they represent, as HollywoodLife suggests, his breaking some kind of embargo on the Twilight cast talking about the Stewart saga.
HollywoodLife has been down this road before, wrongly twisting some Kellan Lutz remarks into a commentary on Stewart, mostly because the webloid falsely insisted Stewart’s castmates had been “ordered to stay silent” on her situation.
Of course, the same outlet claimed Robert Pattinson had “dissed” Twilight in an interview, when he did nothing of the sort.
And HollywoodLife is also responsible for Pattinson’s imaginary “diss” of Lautner.
There’s no doubt the webloid loves a good headline, but it’d be nice if the words actually matched reality.
