Cameron Diaz is in a “condo war” with “rival” Rosie O’Donnell, says the National Enquirer.
According to the tabloid, the actress “is steaming mad over losing her dream home” to the former talk show host.
Diaz is said to have “had her heart set on a penthouse condo in Manhattan’s trendy West Village, but Rosie plucked the place right out from under her nose for a whopping $8 million.”
“Before Cam was able to dot the i’s and cross the t’s on a contract, Rosie swooped in with a higher offer,” claims a so-called “source.”
The snitch adds, “Rosie knew Cam had fallen in love with the place and was all set to buy it, so I’d call what she did a greedy grab.”
Now Diaz is allegedly “beside herself,” and “badmouthing Rosie to anyone who’ll listen.”
“She’s calling Rosie a sneaky, fat, washed-up has-been who intentionally screwed her over because she’s jealous of her good looks and success,” the supposed insider claims.
Wow!
That would be some feud — if it were true.
A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that O’Donnell and Diaz were NEVER competing for the same apartment.
And O’Donnell’s rep further echoes that there is “no truth” to the National Enquirer report.
