ABC Family has added 7th Heaven alum Barry Watson, who recently recurred on The CW's Gossip Girl, and Wings vet Rebecca Schull to the cast of the Terminales drama pilot.
Terminales centers on a twenty-something aspiring journalist April (Italia Ricci), who tries to work her way up the ladder at a Boston newspaper by impressing her editor (Vondie Curtis-Hall). Just as things are starting to look up at work, at home and in the romance department with a co-worker (Richard Brancatisano), April gets some devastating news from her estranged uncle George (Watson).
Watson and Schull, who will play April's grandmother Emma, guest star in the episode.
Terminales is based on Televisa's Mexican drama of the same name and was written by Susanna Fogel and Joni Lefkowitz. Aaron Kaplan (GCB, Terra Nova), Fogel and Lefkowitz will executive produce.
Production on the pilot began Wednesday.
