With Fox beleaguered by a rain-delayed game three of the National League Championship Series and a broken up episode of The X Factor, Wednesday's fast affiliate ratings for the network are unreliable. The rest of the nets, for the most part, saw drops from last week -- with the notable exception of The CW's steady Arrow.

CBS led the night with a 2.7 adults rating and 10.8 million viewers. Survivor was down a tenth of a point to a 2.7 with 18-49-ers, while Criminal Minds got a three percent bump to a 3.1 in the demo. CSI fell eight percent to a 2.4 rating in the demo.
The Middle was the only ABC series to grow from last week, moving up a tenth of a point to a 2.5 rating with adults 18-49. The Neighbors (1.9 adults rating) and Modern Family (4.6 adults rating) were down five and four percent, respectively. The premiere of Suburgatory, entering its new time slot, was down 15 percent from last year to a 2.8 rating with adults 18-49 despite its stronger lead. Nashville took a steep 29 percent spill at 10 p.m., giving it a 2.0 rating with adults 18-49. ABC averaged a 2.6 adults rating and 8 million viewers.

Animal Practice dropped again on NBC, falling nine percent to a 1.0 rating with adults 18-49. Guys With Kids managed to stay steady at a 1.4 adults rating despite the drop in its lead, while Law & Order: SVU dropped 11 percent to a 1.6 adults rating. Chicago Fire, like Nashville, lost a chunk of its premiere haul. It dropped 21 percent to a 1.5 adults rating. NBC averaged a 1.5 adults rating and 5.4 million viewers.
Though it did lose some of its premiere's impressive total viewers tally, Arrow was steady with its strong 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 in its second outing. The freshman led into a similarly steady Supernatural (1.0 adults rating), giving the net an average 1.1 in the demo and 2.8 million viewers for the night.
Univision had a 1.6 rating with adults 18-49.
