Taylor Swift appeared on “Good Morning America” on Monday to discuss her new album “Red,” which has already shot to Number 1 on iTunes since its midnight release.

Asked about her previous statement saying she wrote “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” to drive her ex “absolutely crazy,” Swift laughed and replied, “I maybe said that one place… on a bad day.”
She went on to explain, “My fans know that I’m going to give them the real version of what happened to me in my music and they know that what they read about [me in] blogs and gossip sites may or may not be true.”
“They can kind of tell if it’s true or not because they know me,” Swift added.
Of course, Gossip Cop also is here to debunk or verify stories about the singing star.
Swift also talked about life in the spotlight, her favorite TV shows, and what makes her smile.
She will perform live on “GMA” on Tuesday at 7 a.m. ET.
