Katie Holmes has a friendship problem, according to the National Enquirer.
The supermarket tabloid claims that the actress “keeps trying to reconnect with close friends she’d lost touch with” during her marriage to Tom Cruise, “but, sadly, some keep slamming the door” in her face.
A supposed Holmes “insider” alleges, “Several ex-friends gave Katie the cold shoulder because she’d stopped returning their calls after her marriage — it was like she’d dumped them.”
And while the National Enquirer acknowledges that Holmes’ former “Dawson’s Creek” co-star Joshua Jackson seemed happy to hear from her, the mag says “others keep blowing her off.”

“She says friends should understand that marriage to Tom, Scientology and raising [daughter] Suri had become her whole life,” writes the tab.
The National Enquirer continues, “Now that Tom can’t tell her who she can buddy up to, Katie desperately wants to re-establish old friendships — but it’s looking like too little, too late.”
Let’s get this straight.
The National Enquirer expects us to believe that it knows anything about Holmes’ life — with or without Cruise — after months (okay, years) of spreading untrue, inaccurate, and totally false stories about the pair?
Right.
In any case, a source close to Holmes tells Gossip Cop that the tabloid’s latest tale is nothing but “lies.”
