NBC will continue to hang out with Guys With Kids.

The network has ordered five additional scripts for the freshman comedy from executive producer Jimmy Fallon, The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively.

Airing at 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, the Jesse Bradford, Anthony Anderson and Zach Cregger starrer has been a modest performer in the slot airing after Animal Practice.

Guys With Kids has managed to grow from its weak Animal Practice lead-in. Its latest episode posted a 1.4 adults rating, up three-tenths over its now-canceled neighbor.

The script order comes a week after NBC opted to not move forward with the back-nine order for its Justin Kirk starrer Animal Practice, replacing the comedy with the return of Whitney from its original Friday slot starting Nov. 14.

NBC this fall already has given full-season orders to comedies The New Normal and Go On as well as the drama Revolution.

Meanwhile, a return date for cult favorite Community has not yet been determined.
