With 2.367 million viewers and 855,000 adults 18-49, the ABC show hit highs not matched since Kimmel had a boost from a NBA Finals lead. For a Thursday, the first lady's appearance gave Live! its biggest telecast on the night since June. 3, 2007.

The Obamas' late night tour, winding down in anticipation of the Nov. 6 election, has been good for late night ratings. The president's visits to The Late Show With David Letterman, The Daily Show With Jon Stewart and Jay Leno's Tonight Show have all brought surges in ratings.
