Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and mom June Shannon visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, where America's little go-go juice-fueled sweetheart announced her endorsement for the 2012 presidential election: Barack Obama, consider her vote yours (were the 7-year-old Thompson just 11 years older).
But pollsters take note: It could easily be argued that host Jimmy Kimmel led Honey Boo Boo to that answer like Glitzy the Pig to a troughful of tiaras.

"On [Live! with Kelly and Michael,] they asked Mitt Romney if he preferred Snooki or Honey Boo Boo," Kimmel explained, before breaking the news that the Republican candidate chose the Jersey Shore star as his favorite reality TV guilty pleasure.
"So now I'm going to ask you who you're going to support for president," he asked. A miffed Honey Boo Boo offered a lightly garbled version of "Barack Obama."
Earlier in the interview, Shannon reassured Kimmel that as stage mothers go, she has things pretty well under control.

"I am the agent, the manager and all," Shannon said. "I know what's best for my kids. ... That's why I chose to put money in the trust funds. This journey may last six months, it may last a year. But ten years down the road, I don't want Alana or any of the kids to be thinking, Oh my god, I have nothing to show for it."
Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the family saw a hefty pay increase from the first season, when they earned somewhere in the $4,000-per-episode range, to something closer to $8,000 for season two.
But trust fund or not, Honey Boo Boo says she has big career plans for the future.
"A teacher, a momma and a nurse," was her reply when Kimmel asked her what she'd like to be when she grows up, then plunged her hand into a mug of water.
