ABC Family has rounded out its cast for drama pilot, Socio, from Gavin Polone.

Make It or Break It's Kathy Najimy and Friday Night Lights' Grey Damon have joined the hourlong as guest stars opposite Avan Jogia and Denise Richards, in addition to Treme's Sam Robards, the cable network announced Wednesday.

Here's the official synopsis: Socio follows Danny (Jogia), who has returned to town after serving five years in custody for murdering his aunt when he was 11. Admitting his guilt, but stubbornly refusing to discuss his motive, Danny returns to a hostile reception and a media firestorm. Ostracized by his peers, Danny reconnects with his former best friends Jo (Maddie Hasson) and Lacey (Kylie Bunbury), who are still struggling to put the past behind them. But when another student is murdered, Danny becomes suspect No. 1.

Najimy will play Mrs. Fisk, described as a charismatic, eccentric psychology teacher, while Damon -- most recently a recurring on The CW's The Secret Circle -- will portray Archie, Lacey's hot-headed boyfriend, who is not pleased by her renewed friendship with Danny. Robards will play Kyle, the town sheriff and Jo's father.

Production on the Prodco-produced Socio began Wednesday in New York.

Polone serves as executive producer, with Greek's Adam Milch as writer.
