DJ Jazzy Jeff is the latest celebrity death hoax victim.
Several high-profile Twitter users began tweeting about the performer’s supposed “death” on Tuesday, leading to widespread speculation that he had died.
DJ Jazzy Jeff is NOT dead.
The rumor is 100 percent false.
It’s just another example of a death hoax getting completely out of hand on social media.
Of course, DJ Jazzy Jeff’s old pal Will Smith has been the frequent subject of equally wrong (and stupid) death rumors.
We hope this trend dies out.
