Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are once again in Star magazine’s crosshairs.
According to the tabloid, “The Amazing Spider-Man’s golden couple are in a web of trouble over their finances.”
Star sources say Garfield is “peeved” that Stone “will be making $600K more than him” for the Spider-Man sequel.
“It drives Andrew crazy,” claims the mag’s insider. “He had to prepare so much more for this role than her — he’s the title character!”
Moreover, Garfield is allegedly beginning to “feel that his paramour is too immature for him.”
How so?
“She’s a totally wild party animal,” claims a so-called “friend,” adding that Garfield would rather spend nights at home.
Oh, and Star claims the actor is also jealous of Stone, citing “friends” who allege that “Andrew can’t handle that Emma’s career is the only one that took off.”
Um… none of this — none of this — makes ANY sense whatsoever.
First of all, negotiations for the second Spider-Man movie have not been finalized, so there’s been absolutely no chance for Garfield to get “peeved” over a perceived salary slight.
Additionally, the notion that Garfield’s career has stalled is preposterous, especially in an article that’s all about the giant movie franchise he leads.
And as for Stone being a “wild party animal,” sources close to the actress tell Gossip Cop that Star’s portrayal could “not be further from the truth.”
Star has been clueless about the couple for some time, having falsely suggested he cheated on her nearly a year ago, and then wrongly speculating that her alleged “shopaholic” tendencies were threatening their relationship.
This latest bogus story is just more of the same.
