Print iPhone Pics As Polaroid Images

A Kickstarter project by The Impossible Project is reviving Polaroid images for iPhone users.

Background

Currently, the Impossible Project is the only company producing film for Polaroid cameras. The group loves Polaroid so much that they bought one its factories "in order to save instant film for the future."

The device they've created will turn any iPhone picture into analog instant photos. If the project reaches it's fundraising goal of $250,000 by October 8th, backers will get their devices as early as February 2013. Those who don't back the project will be able to purchase the device for $299 when it becomes available.

Via: kickstarter.com

Functionality

Impossible claims the device will be easy to use: Users just need to "select an image from the Instant Lab app, place the iPhone in the cradle and slide open the shutter on the base. A signal tells you when the exposure is finished. Close the shutter, push the button and the Instant Lab ejects your photo, ready to develop in the palm of your hand."
