Morgan Freeman is the victim of a death hoax.
Rumors of the actor’s alleged demise spread because of an “R.I.P. Morgan Freeman” Facebook page claiming he died on September 5.
The page received thousands and thousands of “likes,” perpetuating the bogus story.
Freeman is NOT dead.
He is alive and well.
A similarly FALSE report on Facebook “killed” Bill Cosby last month.
There’s been a wave of awful death hoaxes in recent days.
Hopefully the cycle ends soon.
