Evelyn Lozada has filed for divorce from Chad Ochocinco following a domestic incident on Saturday during which the football player allegedly head-butted his new wife.
The “Basketball Wives” star filed papers in Florida on Tuesday, claiming her marriage was “irretrievably broken,” according to TMZ.
Ochocinco and Lozada tied the knot just six weeks ago on July 4th.
In the wake of his arrest, Ochocinco, who recently changed his name back to Chad Johnson, was dropped from the Miami Dolphins and axed from his VH1 reality show “Ev & Ocho.”
