Chad Ochocinco has been dropped from the Miami Dolphins following his domestic violence arrest on Saturday night.
The wide receiver, who allegedly head-butted his new wife Evelyn Lozada during a heated argument, was cut from the team after a meeting with the Dolphins’ head coach Joe Philbin on Sunday.
The Dolphins announced on their website that Ochocinco has been released from the team.
As Gossip Cop previously reported, the football player and “Basketball Wives” star Lozada got into a fight when she found a receipt for a box of condoms.
Lozada was taken to the hospital and treated for a laceration on her forehead.
Ochocinco, who recently changed his name back to Chad Johnson, was placed in jail.
He was released from on Sunday after paying a $2,500 fine.
