Emily Maynard and fiance Jef Holm, whose engagement was showcased on “The Bachelorette” finale, revealed on Sunday’s live “After The Final Rose” special that they are still together.

But before the couple could bask in their happiness, Arie Luydendyk, who Emily dumped at the start of their final date, came out to face the woman who broke his heart.

Arie admitted he was “completely taken by surprise” when Emily broke up with him, believing they “had such a future planned.”

“It really was shocking for me,” he told her and host Chris Harrison.

Emily apologized for not being clear and more straightforward with him during the difficult moment, admitting she didn’t give him the closure he deserved.

But perhaps most shocking was the revelation that, after filming was finished, Arie flew to Charlotte in an attempt to win Emily back.

“I just didn’t think our story was through,” he said, revealing that upon arrival, however, he opted to call her instead and leave her his journal chronicling their time together.

Out of respect to both Arie and Jef, Emily admitted she didn’t read it, believing “it wouldn’t help anything.”

Arie, who revealed he’s actually still friends with Jef, seemed to understand, and told her, “Now that I know that you and Jef are happy, I’m happy for you.”

When Jef came out, the couple revealed they’ve spent almost every weekend together since the show wrapped, spending time with Emily’s now 7-year-old daughter, Ricki.

“It’s exactly what I thought it would be and more,” Jef said.

And now that they can be in public together, the couple is planning a humanitarian trip to Africa, after which Jef will move to Charlotte – and live separately from Emily, at least at first.

But a wedding is on the horizon.

“I’ve already been looking at places,” Emily revealed, later stressing, however, they don’t have a time-frame “set in stone.”

“But I would really love a spring wedding,” she added.

Do you think Maynard and Holm’s relationship will last?
