“Scarlett Johansson spends romantic, bikini-clad day aboard yacht with muscular mystery man,” reads a New York Daily News headline on Monday.
The outlet, echoing many other outlets that picked up paparazzi shots, claims the actress was spotted “canoodling” with the so-called “mystery man” off the coast of Italy.
According to the Daily News, Johansson and the hunk spent a “romantic day under the sun.”
“The man was seen gently caressing the blond beauty’s stomach and shielding her face from the blazing sun,” writes the paper, apparently in a bid to mix erotica with news.
The report continues, “Their proximity and body language make it appear that Johansson has found herself a new man.”
Uh, yeah, that “new man” isn’t quite as mysterious (or amorous) as the Daily News would like to believe.
A rep for Johansson tells Gossip Cop, “That’s her bodyguard,” and points out that none of the pictures show him stroking Johansson’s body — just the keys of his BlackBerry.
Oops.
In fact, Gossip Cop has confirmed that Johansson is still very much with her boyfriend, advertising executive Nate Naylor.
Double oops.
