After a big mid-holiday week opening, The Amazing Spider-Man is poised to swing to the top of a crowded box office.

The Andrew Garfield-Emma Stone superhero reboot is projected to hit $65 million for the weekend, giving it an easy win over three still-strong holdovers.

Foul-mouthed stuffed bear comedy Ted is expected to fall to second place with $36 million.

Pixar’s latest animated adventure Brave ($24 million) and male stripper saga Magic Mike ($19 million) should follow at #3 and #4.

The new Oliver Stone drug war epic Savages will likely land in fifth place with a $15 million opening, ahead of Madea’s Witness Protection ($11.5 million).

Katy Perry: Part Of Me, the pop superstar’s tour movie, should debut in 7th place with about $8.5 million.

Madagascar 3 ($7.5 million), Moonrise Kingdom ($4.5 million) and To Rome With Love (#3.5 million) will round out the Top 10 chart.

Gossip Cop will have updates.
