Alex Pettyfer might be Kristen Stewart’s new on-screen love interest.
The Magic Mike actor is in “final negotiations” to play the male lead opposite Stewart in the upcoming Nick Cassavetes film Cali, according to Variety.
No official casting announcement has been made.
Gossip Cop has reached out for confirmation of Pettyfer’s status with the project.
The plot revolves around lovers who sell a fake snuff film and run off, only to return to Los Angeles years later to rescue the woman’s younger sister from some bad people.
Stewart, of course, is best known for The Twilight Saga and Snow White and the Huntsman.
Pettyfer has appeared in projects including Beastly and I Am Number Four.
