Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, who lost their dad Robert Kardashian to esophageal cancer back in 2003, blogged on Father’s Day about both their biological dad and Bruce Jenner, who treated them like his own kids after marrying Kris Jenner in 1991.
Kim wrote, “Father’s Day is always bitter sweet. Of course every year that goes by I miss my dad, but I am so blessed to have had two incredible dads. Thank you Bruce for always being there for me!”
“To all the fathers out there,” she wished, “Happy Father’s Day!”
Kourtney remembered her dad and honored Jenner as well, and wrote lovingly of Scott Disick, the father of her son Mason and unborn daughter.
“I always miss my father on Father’s Day of course, but also feel blessed to have had the best father anyone could ask for. He taught me so much, gave me unconditional love and warmth. He gave me my confidence, my spirituality, my sense of humor, my loyalty,” she blogged.
“I cherish my memories with him every day and take his example when raising my son. For that, I am forever grateful.”
Kourtney said, “I am also blessed with Bruce in my life as my second father who has done nothing but love me, my siblings and my son. I am so lucky!”
“And of course I am also happy to celebrate Father’s Day with Scott, the father of my children,” she wrote. “The light and love that he has for Mason makes my heart melt. It is a pleasure to watch his growth as he takes this journey as a father.”
After wishing a “Happy Father’s day to all of the dads out there,” Khloe also noted how the holiday is “bittersweet” for her, though she said, “I’ve been fortunate enough to have two wonderful fathers in my life and I am eternally grateful for that. I wouldn’t be who I am today without both of them.”
“I love you daddy. I love you Bruce,” added Khloe.
