“Angelina Jolie is staying in character at home — and scaring the wits out of her kids!” announces the National Enquirer.
The tabloid reports that Jolie, who’s currently filming her title role as evil Sleeping Beauty antagonist Maleficent, is “determined not to break character,” and therefore “wearing Maleficent’s hideous makeup and fearsome costume at home… and her six children are petrified!”
Um… what?
“On the film set in London, she wears terrifying makeup and huge horns, which is a frightening prospect for anyone,” explains a so-called “source,” adding, “But she’s also been taking her ‘Maleficent’ role home to the rental mansion where she and Brad Pitt are staying with their brood.”
The “source” says the costumed Jolie is “like a living nightmare to her kids!”
According to the Enquirer’s insider, “When she first showed up wearing a long gown and reciting her lines like her super-nasty character, they thought it was funny. But now it’s just creeping them out!”
3-year-old Knox is said to be the “most affected,” allegedly running away from Jolie as she wreaks household havoc as Maleficent.
OK, let’s stop this nonsense right here.
Angelina Jolie is not terrorizing her young children by pretending to be an evil dark mistress.
Rather, the Enquirer has been publishing report after false report trying to portray Jolie and Pitt’s household as chaotic, and this costume story is just the latest smear.
A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop that while Jolie is definitely committed to her character, she is NOT tormenting her own kids by transforming herself into a 24/7 Maleficent.
It’s just more Jolie-Pitt fantasy from one of the world’s leading purveyors.
